What is the All State Showcase?

The All-State Games will showcase players in Minnesota who have been nominated throughout the season by their coaches as Top Players. These nominations happen following each MN USSSA Qualifying Tournament. Players will be nominated by their coaches for displaying great overall effort and tournament performance throughout the season as well as displaying great sportsmanship. Players will be placed on balanced teams with other players from MN and each team will play 2 exhibition games against other teams from the same age group.  This event will be both competitive and fun for the players, coaches, fans, and umpires.

Who?

12U-18U players on a MN USSSA Roster are eligible.  The age divisions at the All-State Games will be consistent with the age groups played during the 2024 Summer Season. 

Players who are nominated as an All State Player will:

• Receive an individualized invitation to the All State Event
• Be tagged as an All-State Nominee in the USSSA System

Nominated players who register and participate will receive an All State Games jersey, visor and bag tag. 

Cost? 

The cost for a player to attend the event will be $150 for regular registration and $175 for late registration.  

Player Nominations

Teams/Coaches get a certain number of nominations based on playing and team placement in the below Minnesota USSSA Tournaments.  The higher the team’s placement, the more nominations that team will receive.  The nominations available to each team will be tracked, but the DEADLINE to nominate any players is Monday, July 15, 2024. The deadline for players to register is Wednesday, July 17th, 2024 to get the $150 cost.  Starting Thursday, July 18th through Friday, July 26th, the player registration will cost $175.

• Lexi Kretsch Summer Showdown – June 14-16
• S&C Summer Showcase – June 21-23
• USSSA Southern State Tournament & National Qualifier – June 21-23
• Lakeville Summer Grand Slam – June 28-30
• Peppers Classic – July 5-7
• Metro Top Tier State Championship – July 12-14
• Cloquet USSSA Northern State Tournament – July 12-14

When?

Minnesota All State Games will be held on Saturday, August 10th for all age groups.  Sunday, August 11th will be a makeup day in case of inclement weather.

Where?

This event is currently scheduled to be played at Sand Creek Park: 1008 Northdale Boulevard NW, Coon Rapids, MN, 55448.

All State Team Formation

• Players will be placed on balanced teams with other players from Minnesota.
• Max 3 players from the same summer team will be on 1 All State Team
• Coaches for each All State team will be nominated and recommended by their peers.  Each Team will have at least 1 designated coach
• Teams and Schedules will be announced the week of the event.
• Games will be 70 minutes. No score will be kept. Equal playing time will be provided. 
• Poor Sportsmanship of any kind will not be tolerated.

All players who are nominated, registered, and participate in the Minnesota All State Games will also receive an invite to attend the National All State Games at Space Coast Stadium in Vera Beach, Florida on Dec. 28-Dec. 31, 2024.
